Dear Firends: I am stuck in figuring out how to compare the daily foraging peaks of two herbivores. I want to calculate the overlap in foraging peaks. The detail is as follow: The data was collected using instantaneous scan sampling at 10 min interval. I have proportion of ungulate herd engaged in various activity at every 10 minutes starting from early morning to late evening. Now I want to compare the foraging patterns and therefore statistically compare peak foraging period of both the group of herbivores. Any suggestions on analysis? Thank you Chittaranjan Dave, PhD
