Dear all,

looking at various definitions of Gloger’s rule, I’ve noticed that heat and
humidity are always cited.
However, despite my limited German skills, it seems that in the chapter
concerning colour’s changes from his 1833 book « Das Abaendern der Vögel
durch Einfluss des Klima’s » (pp. 11-23), no sentence refers specifically to
humidity.
Can you help me to locate a sentence mentioning the effect of humidity on
colour’s variations in Gloger’s book ?

Thank you!

Philippe
