Some of you heard a preview of this information last week at the Ecological Society meeting, but the official solicitation was issued today. If you plan to apply for funding from DEB or IOS in the future, you will need to look at this solicitation carefully. There will be a Webinar and a FAQ will be issued soon.
NEW Effective immediately, DEB will implement an annual cycle of preliminary and full proposals beginning in January 2012. Preliminary proposals will be accepted in January. Following review by a panel of outside experts, each applicant will be notified of a binding decision to Invite or Not Invite submission of a full proposal.
