Note two important changes:
1) The DEADLINE for proposals will be 10 November 2011. This is a
change from the third Friday of the month to the second (but in 2011,
due to Veterans Day, the deadline will actually be the preceding Thursday).
2) Indirect costs were not previously allowed on DDIG proposals, but
because this has been deemed a form of involuntary cost sharing,
indirect costs (overhead) will now be allowed as part of the budget.
Note that there is also a Pre-Submission Checklist, which I hope will
greatly reduce the submission of proposals that were not compliant
with the requirements and had to be returned without review.
