The Plant Population Ecology section of the ESA seeks donated items for its silent auction at this year's ESA meeting at Austin, TX (http://esa.org/austin/). Auction proceeds go towards travel awards for undergraduate and graduate students to help defray the costs of attending the meeting; last year's auction proceeds are supporting 8 deserving students.
Items up for auction typically include things like classic texts and reprints, out-of-print field guides, items picked up on travels or at field sites, seeds, plant cuttings, jewelry, t-shirts, pottery, packets or CDs of innovative course material, etc. Please email Amy Angert ([email protected]) to make arrangements if you are able to donate an item.
