All: I am no longer a CNPS member, and I don't intend to "give" a paper. Since it's "right here in River City, I might* attend, just to get somewhat up to date (if not up to speed).
However, I am willing to assist anyone in the preparation of an abstract and paper, or provide local information on various subjects related to ecology and related disciplines, including "management" and policy. I can also help to some extent by tapping into my familiarity with the local/regional scene, including ecological phenomena such as restoration projects, vegetation/habitat dynamics, cryptobiotic soil crust communities, fire, and water not to be confused with firewater. Even local restaurants, regional camping, wildlife, wild life etc. Students who are "hard up" might contact me for a possible place to crash, and some minor financial assistance. If more than one or two apply, I might have to draw straws . . . WT *I might not, or might leave early. I have a few mobility limitations.
