The wetland soils division (S10) of the Soil Science Society of America is soliciting presentations (oral or poster) on all aspects of wetland soils for the S10 sessions in San Antonio, TX during the Society's meetings there (Oct 16-19, 2011). Also, we have multiple cash awards for the best graduate student papers and posters as well as two symposia for invited speakers, Wetland Soils Education and Tidal Forest Soils.
In addition, there are two opportunities for graduate students to have 'Lunch with a Prominent Wetland Soil Scientist'. Dr. Ramesh Reddy (University of Florida) and Dr. Pat Megonigal (Smithsonian Institution) will each host a lunch early in the week.
