It might be a bit simple for your needs, but 'Statistics for Terrified
Biologists' is probably the most useful stats book I've ever read.
It's genuinely readable - a rarity.

Hi! Apurba
I currently used " Spatial Analysis: A Guide for Ecologists (Fortin
& Dale 20002)" as my guide book , which may be more in to spatial
statistics field.
It does provide some great ideas for how to analyze ecological data.
I am also reading a book called "Ecological data: Design,
Management and Processing (Eds: Michener & Brung)".
Some chapters provide the basic principles for conducting
statistical analysis in ecological research.
Hope my information is useful for your needs. :)

Hi All:
Can anyone suggest me a book on statistics, which is easy to read and
understand, also cover the details of designing experiments,
different kind
of tests used in the field of ecology?
Currently I have "A Primer of Ecological Statistics" by Gotelli and
Ellison.
I appreciate your valuable feedback.
Thank you.
