I'm writing to ask if anyone knows of existing methods to
quantitatively estimate habitat use based on diet? In other words, do
you know of methods for using diet information (i.e, prey types in
scat, stomach samples, etc.) and prey habitat use data to infer
habitat use by the predator? I know that there are a lot of
assumptions that would go into this sort of an analysis, but it seems
like a reasonable approach if other types of data are not available
(and/or as a complement to more traditional approaches).

Thanks in advance,
