Hi there, I've just joined the list and would like to get some help with sampling stone walls in Ireland for biodiversity. I searched the archives but no matches were returned. I'd really appreciate some help from you all. Has anyone tried using sticky traps or a suction sampler to collect the invertebrate fauna from dry-stone walls? We want to know what the biodiversity of a stone wall is and have tried using a suction sampler but it seems to only lift the smallest bugs, beetles, spiders and flies. But we want the big guys!!!
Any advice? All help much appreciated. Best wishes Caitriona
