University Lecturer/Laboratory Coordinator Federated Department of Biological Sciences New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) College of Science and Liberal Arts
The NJIT Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a University Lecturer position. The main responsibility will be the coordination and administration of biological laboratories primarily in the area of Ecology and Evolution, including overseeing the laboratory instructional staff. The Lecturer will also be required to develop and teach additional courses up to a maximum of 6 credit hours per semester at both undergraduate and graduate levels. A Masters degree in biological sciences is required, PhD preferred. Teaching experience in a university setting is highly desired. Preference will be given to candidates who also have documented effective teaching abilities, organizational skills and staff management abilities. Candidates must also demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to use technology to support instruction.
