Hi folks,

I am pleased to announce that The Midwest Ecology and Evolution Conference
(MEEC) will be held Friday, March 26 to Sunday, March 28 2010, on the campus
of Iowa State University, in Ames, Iowa.

MEEC is a conference organized by and geared toward undergraduate and
graduate students to present research and make connections. The heart of
this event is composed of oral and poster presentations contributed by
participating undergraduate and graduate students.

The conference will also include an opening mixer, a banquet Saturday
evening, and keynote addresses from three leading researchers in ecology and
evolution, including Dr. Jeff Feder from the University of Notre Dame, Dr.
Alan K. Knapp from Colorado State University, and Dr. Ellen Damschen from
Washington University.

Abstract Submission

In keeping with MEEC tradition, posters and oral presentations are limited
to students—undergraduate and graduate. Faculty and post-docs are encouraged
to attend in support of the students. The deadline for Abstract Submission
is February 15, 2010. Students interested in submitting poster/paper
abstracts or in putting together a special session should visit
http://www.midwesteec.org/guide.html.

For more information, please visit MEEC 2010 online at

Cheers,

Erik
