Hi folks, I am pleased to announce that The Midwest Ecology and Evolution Conference (MEEC) will be held Friday, March 26 to Sunday, March 28 2010, on the campus of Iowa State University, in Ames, Iowa.
MEEC is a conference organized by and geared toward undergraduate and graduate students to present research and make connections. The heart of this event is composed of oral and poster presentations contributed by participating undergraduate and graduate students. The conference will also include an opening mixer, a banquet Saturday evening, and keynote addresses from three leading researchers in ecology and evolution, including Dr. Jeff Feder from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Alan K. Knapp from Colorado State University, and Dr. Ellen Damschen from Washington University. Abstract Submission In keeping with MEEC tradition, posters and oral presentations are limited to studentsundergraduate and graduate. Faculty and post-docs are encouraged to attend in support of the students. The deadline for Abstract Submission is February 15, 2010.
