Assistant or Associate Professor, Biomathematics, University of 
Wisconsin-Milwaukee

The Department of Biological Sciences, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee 
invites applicants for a 
faculty position in biomathematics at the assistant (tenure-track) or associate 
professor level.  We 
are seeking outstanding candidates with a Ph.D. in biology or a related area 
and with postdoctoral 
research experience.  Applicants whose work has an aquatic focus, and with 
expertise in 
bioinformatics, genomics, computational genetics, ecological modeling, 
evolutionary biology, 
systems biology, or biological aspects of climate modeling, are preferred.  The 
successful 
candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, externally-funded research 
program, take an 
active role in directing undergraduate and graduate education, and contribute 
to teaching in 
biomathematics and core biology courses.  This position is part of an 
interdisciplinary research 
initiative in Aquatic Biomathematics, involving Biological and Mathematical 
Sciences and the UWM
