I have a student in my ecology lab interested in participating in a tropical field ecology course in the summer of 2010. I took part in an OTS style course in Costa Rica several years ago and found it very rewarding. However, the costs of an OTS course are a little high for my students budget. I know other more afforadable options exist in Panama and Ecuador. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with other tropical ecology courses in Latin America and could make recommendations?
