To whom it may concern

My name is Paolo (MSc, BSc, PhD).
I’m an entomologist and a long-time experienced bio-speleologist. During
the last decade, I’ve dealt with many branches of Zoology, Marine
Biology,
and Palaeontology.
I have obtained my PhD degree in Environmental Biology in January 2009,
when I defended a thesis entitled: “Strategies for monitoring and
conservation of endemic fauna in some subterranean sites”.

During these years, within the various researches I’ve performed for the
Department of Zoology here in Sardinia, I focused on the morphology of
Troglobitic beetles and theirs larval morphology, as well as on the study
of the subterranean communities. I monitored different environments such as
the subterranean habitat, lakes, forests and beaches where I collected and
studied many different specimens belonging to different orders of insects
and other arthropods. During these researches, I discovered and described
new unknown species.

I’m looking for new experiences abroad, as Post Doc or other types of
scientific job, I am ready to move anywhere to continue the research
activity. However I'm ready to begin a new research in order to increase my
Knowledge on Zoology..
I love research, as documented by my CV, and I like to spend many hours
both in the field and in the lab in the research of invertebrates.

I am confident that my background and enthusiasm for multidisciplinary
collaborative research could be a benefit for your research project.

I apologize for my English, that I’ve to improve a lot.
Yours sincerely
