C&B is a non-for-profit organization working on different aspects of global change research and the emerging carbon markets for forest conservation. The intern will perform the following tasks: Perform a literature review on tree biomass equations. Update and review an existing database on biomass equations. Perform exploratory statistical analyses such as correlation and regression. Basic knowledge on statistics is desired but not previous experience with Bayesian statistics. Basic computer skills are required. The intern must be enrolled in a higher education institution, preferably in a natural sciences program. Fluency in Spanish is desired but not required. This internship is for four months and a housing allowance is provided to the intern. The stipend is $500.000 Colombian Pesos (~ US$250) per month.
