The Town of Nantucket, Massachusetts seeks a well qualified individual to staff the position Marine Biologist. This position performs water quality analysis, shellfish restoration, ecological research, and works with the Nantucket Public Schools. Qualifications: BS in Marine Biology or related field and at least two years of related experience required, graduate degree preferred. Ability to perform all types of water sampling and analysis, proficient in computer applications, certified diver preferred or willingness to obtain certification, demonstrated ability to handle small boats and working knowledge of shellfish ecology and restoration. Hrly rate $35.42. 35 hrs. week. Benefits.
