[ECOLOG-L] tipping buckets

Hello,
 
We're experiencing less than desired accuracy and precision from our tipping 
bucket rain gauges.  Can anyone comment about the accuracy and precision of 
tipping bucket rain gauges they have used?  Or, recommend an alternative?
