Graduate Student Position: Cornell University 
Field of Natural Resources

We are seeking a graduate student to study early life ecology of fish in rivers 
and estuaries.  The 
research will be highly quantitative, field oriented, and relevant to a 
prominent conservation 
challenge.  Support will include funding for a full year assistantship, 
technicians, equipment, 
travel, tuition, fees, and insurance.  

Qualifications:

We seek student applications with a experiences and interests in aquatic 
ecology, fish, plankton, 
habitat, and quantitative skills (statistics, modeling, large data sets).  
Competitive applicants will 
have an excellent academic record, research experiences, top GRE scores, and a 
background in 
environmental biology.  Applicants that have an MS degree are preferred, but 
highly competitive 
new BS graduates will be considered.
