Title:  Research Support Specialist, part-time or full-time

Unit:  Department of Forest and Natural Resources Managemen
 
Salary Range:  $23,000 Annual for Full-time
 
Expected Duration:  Up to two years, renewable depending on funding

Brief Description of Duties:  Provide research support for several ongoing 
projects in forest ecosystem nutrient cycling.  Primary tasks include 
processing and analyzing soil and plant samples and analyzing, documenting, and 
presenting data.  Field work is seasonally important.  Other duties include 
literature research and assisting with manuscript and grant proposal 
preparation.  Ability to supervise undergraduate workers desirable.

Qualifications:  Baccalaureate degree; experience in a research laboratory or 
field setting; computer and statistical skills.

Date to Be Filled:  As soon as possible.
