The application is available online at: http://mccs.gmu.edu The Smithsonian-Mason Semester is a resident, 16 credit program in conservation studies for undergraduates at the Smithsonian Conservation and Research Center in beautiful Front Royal, Virginia. There you will learn from top experts in Conservation and work with some of the most endangered species on earth. Past graduates of the program have gone on to internships with a variety of agencies, including Smithsonian, Fish and Wildlife Service, NGOs, International Exotic Animal Sanctuary, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, and others. One student wrote me recently that she is completing an internship working with bears and exotic cats and is looking forward to another working with canid neonates and hoofstock.
