The Biology Department at Grand Valley State University invites applications for a 9 month, tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level to start in Fall 2009. An applicant should hold a Ph.D. in Biology or related field with broad expertise in quantitative ecology and statistical analysis, and a record of excellent teaching and scholarship. Postdoctoral experience is desired. The ability to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment is a plus. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory and advanced courses for majors and non-majors appropriate to the applicant’s area of expertise.
