Hi All, I would like to know from the forestry side -- What software and remote sensing (RS) datasets ( especially in Latin America) are recommended to quantify/use the following characteristics:
Multitemporal Land-cover / Land Use Changes Analysis. Above Ground and Below Ground Carbon/Biomass. Interoperability with other GIS software packages. Capability for georeferencing Aerial Photographs, Images and other (RS) data So far I have in mind to buy IDRISI, ENVI+IDL, ArcView 9.3 + spatial analysis. But no decissions have been made. I will appreciate any advice provided.
