Hi, Warren, Your project is interesting, but I hope you will try to include values of all ecosystem services, not just economic activity. I have some references if you are interested.
Although I am not an economist, it has always amazed me that many of the natural services which contribute to quality of human life, from water cycling to landscape aesthetics, are left out of valuing because they do not enter the market. In Ireland, in my opinion, that has resulted in many new roads being routed through our most attractive and/or ecologically interesting or essential habitats as they are not 'valuable' - i.e., not the source of economic activity: pasture, tillage, or residential. I'd hate to see more new work not overcoming this glaring omission.
