Dear Colleagues,

Founded in 1935,and sponsored by China Zoological Society and Institute of
Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Acta Zoologica Sinica is the top
zoological journal in China, indexed by major databases such as BIOSIS,
ZOOLOGICAL RECORDS, CHEMICAL ABSTRACTS etc., and the papers, published by this
journal, cited by the journals indexed by SCI database are available in SCI
database. In the past several years, Acta Zoologica Sinica has been trying to
increase its international visibility by publishing papers contributed by
international authors (some examples are shown below). To be more active in
international academic world, we have decided to change Acta Zoologica Sinica
to English, i.e., publication language will be TOTALLY English, the journal
will be published by an international publisher, and the journal title will be
CURRENT ZOOLOGY begining from first issue of 2009. All manuscripts will be
peer-reviewed.The accepted papers will be published with short publication
cycle!
 ,without any
page charge, and will be read and downloaded free of charge.

Thank you for your consideration, and looking forward to your future
submissions.

Sincerely
