Field Technician
The Institute for Wildlife Studies is looking to hire 1-2 field wildlife biologists to participate in fox monitoring programs in the Channel Islands, California from July through September, 2008. Duties will include capture and handling Island fox and Island skunk using live traps, trap maintenance, and hiking 4-8 miles a day over rough terrain in a variety of weather conditions. Position runs from July 8 through September 20, 2008. Qualifications: 1) Bachelors Degree in wildlife biology or related field.
