A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Knight Lab 
at Washington University in St. Louis.  The successful candidate will 
develop a collaborative research program with Tiffany Knight and lab 
members on the topic(s) of population ecology of invasive plants, plant-
animal interactions and/or plant conservation and restoration ecology.

be based at Washington University's Tyson Research Center 
(http://www.tyson.wustl.edu/) and nearby natural areas, including the 
Missouri Botanical Garden's Shaw Nature Reserve, State and County Parks, 
and lands owned by the Missouri Department of Conservation.  The Tyson 
Research Center consists of 2000 acres of forest and old field habitats 
and is located 20 miles from campus.  In addition to developing a 
collaborative research program, candidates for this position should have 
an expressed interest in mentoring undergraduate and high school research 
interns, and in being an active and dynamic member of a growing community 
of researchers at the field station. Funding for salary and modest 
research expenses is available for one year with the possibility of 
extension. Start date is flexible, but preferably between September 2008
