Immediate Opening
A new 1,500 acre public park with extensive natural areas and environmental 
education programming is being designed. Many natural habitats and a strong 
ecological background throughout the park will be highlighted. The ecological 
team requires a staff member with knowledge of Southern California habitats and 
restoration ecology protocols, to work with wildlife biologists and the diverse 
professional group at the Great Park design team, including landscape 
architects, engineers, architects, and construction managers.  Work will 
include designing habitat types, advancing the overall ecological components of 
the park, managing installation of landscapes, supervising field assistants, 
writing reports and plans, monitoring ecological performance, effective 
communication to government and public groups.
Advanced training in ecology/botany (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred), experience in 
restoration projects in regional habitats, strong verbal/written/computer 
skills required, and ability to work independently and with teams.  Competitive
