Taoufik, I would suggest EstimateS. It is a very easy to use freeware package that allows you to estimate a host of diversity metrics. http://viceroy.eeb.uconn.edu/EstimateS I would also suggests looking at Anne Magurran's book Measuring Biological Diversity (2004), to familiarize yourself with all the options.
