different geographic locations or soil/climate zones; 2) understanding
impacts on water resources that may be driven by socioeconomic as well as
physical and biological factors, and 3) perform research that identifies
important factors that might positively influence watershed management and
in a way that fosters stakeholder participation rather than enunciating
further regulatory structures.

Additionally:

sustainable environmental management methods, tools, and sources of
information for communities, watersheds, ecosystems, and regions. Research

sources for managing environmental systems. The work will be primarily
place-based (centered on the underlying geography) and conducted at

research objectives. The nature of this work will require proactive
collaboration with other NRMRL divisions, other organizations within ORD
including NCEA, NHERL, NERL, NCER, as well as other organizations outside
ORD.

Due to the broad range of ORD’s research mission, we are seeking
candidates from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds, including but
