FLBS is a Center of Excellence of The University of Montana and operates year round as a research and educational community. The Station has a world-class research program in several disciplinary areas. The first undergraduate classes began over a century ago in 1899, and today the Bio Station offers a diverse summer program of advanced undergraduate and graduate courses.
