H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest:  field crew positions (June 18 – 
September 14, 2007) are available to assist in studies of upland and 
riparian forests in the mountains of western Oregon and Washington.  Duties 
include measuring tree growth and mortality on research sites that range 
from recently disturbed areas to old-growth forests.  Successful applicants 
will have experience in plant species identification.  Crew will be based 
at the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest near Blue River, Oregon.  Lodging 
is provided at H.J. Andrews, and the salary range is  $10.00 – 13.00/hour 
or more, depending on experience.  Application deadline: April 1, 2007.
