Dear ecology community,

I would like to share a plant ecology themed board game I made inspired by my
PhD research in rangeland restoration.

Restoria is a tabletop game in which you take on the role of an ecologist
working to restore grasslands. Your challenge is to build a species diverse
plant community that is resilient to wildfires, drought, and other events. The
plants in this game are California flora that I hand painted during the
pandemic. Read more about the game and how I made it on my
website<https://www.linaaoyama.com/content/restoria/>.

The game is intentionally made portable so it could easily be played on a
fieldwork trip or at a lab retreat. It could also serve as an educational tool
for plant community ecology or restoration classes.

I hope you enjoy the game!

All the best,
Lina Aoyama
