This workshop examines the application of the ten-step ecological restoration
process to large-scale and complex projects. Participants will explore how to
integrate ecosystem principles, assess conditions over time, and tackle the
unique challenges of large landscapes. Case studies of expansive projects will
showcase the process in action-from initial evaluations and goal-setting to
construction, monitoring, and adaptive management-highlighting effective
strategies for managing complexity and ensuring long-term success.
