We are seeking to hire a software engineer as part of a DOE Earth Shot grant studying the effects of enhanced rock weathering and ocean alkalinity enhancement on alkalinity in the Mississippi River watershed. The software engineer will be responsible for (1) integrating a handful of independent models to facilitate an integrated inorganic carbon model that spans soils, rivers, oceans, and the atmosphere, and (2) building an online platform that will allow researchers to use the newly developed integrated model.
