Hi Arnau,

I think there is no rule for this which is why the question didn't gain any
traction. In my experience, it is usually easiest to go for a "PythonBundle" in
all cases as almost every Python package inevitably has some requirements of
it's own (or develops some a few releases down the road).

Hi all,

I've a generic question on how to install Python packages. It's related to this:
Docs needed on when to use the Python EasyConfig, Bundle, or PythonPackage to
install Python packages (similar for R?) · Issue #398 · easybuilders/easybuild
(github.com)<https://github.com/easybuilders/easybuild/issues/398>
What do you usually use for python package installation? what is your rule (or
the easyconfig rule) if any?

TIA,
Arnau
