By reviewing the 82599 Datasheet I did get double VLAN to work, i.e. RSS into
multiple Rx queues. I set the IXGBE_DMATXCTL_GDV bit and set the Extended VLAN
bit in the IXGBE_CTRL_EXT register and the RSS is working.

Hi,
I saw this topic some time ago, but have lost track. I'm interested in using
the 82599 to RSS Rx packets into multiple Rx queues. All has worked well,
except now I have a user that has double VLAN tagging (aka q-in-q, 802.1ad) and
all packets are going to a single queue. There appear to be bits to activate
global double VLAN, but I wanted to know if anyone has gotten this to work and
how.
