Public bug reported: This is happening on my new Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 370 laptop running Ubuntu 16.04.3.
indicator-power shows two devices: the laptop battery and the wacom tablet pen (which reports no battery but I assume this is a problem with the wacom driver). indicator-power seems to prefer to show the wacom device battery status first, and said device shows a "forbidden" type of icon on the tray. (See screenshot). upower -d output: Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/line_power_AC native-path: AC power supply: yes updated: Mon 20 Nov 2017 06:07:24 PM -03 (1440 seconds ago) has history: no has statistics: no line-power warning-level: none online: yes icon-name: 'ac-adapter-symbolic' Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0 native-path: BAT0 vendor: LGC model: 01AV432 serial: 1323 power supply: yes updated: Mon 20 Nov 2017 06:29:28 PM -03 (116 seconds ago) has history: yes has statistics: yes battery present: yes rechargeable: yes state: fully-charged warning-level: none energy: 50.89 Wh energy-empty: 0 Wh energy-full: 50.94 Wh energy-full-design: 51 Wh energy-rate: 0 W voltage: 17.247 V percentage: 99% capacity: 99.8824% technology: lithium-polymer icon-name: 'battery-full-charged-symbolic' Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/tablet_wacom_battery_0 native-path: wacom_battery_0 model: Wacom Co.,Ltd.
