tooltips remain "floating" after switching workspace

Bug description:
I use Unity-2D, metacity with composite effects enabled via gconf.
I've noticed it with google chrome, maybe other softwares are affected
too. To reproduce the bug:
* open google chrome, move the mouse to some image, etc which have tooltip:
tooltip will be shown
* now switch workspace with keyboard
* the result: the tooltip will remain "above" the new workspace "floating"
other windows/etc there
* if you move the mouse over it, then it disappears too.
It seems not every tooltips: google chrome's TAB bar is not affected,
but images on web pages having ALT tag or similar seems to be
affected.
so it's not a show-stopper bug, but a bit ugly ...
