This is because unity-control-center needs the GSettings schema from indicator-bluetooth and schemas need to be installed otherwise the control center would crash. Otherwise indicator-bluetooth would just be a recommends.
A solution would be to make an indicator-bluetooth-schemas package that just contained the schema. ** Also affects: indicator-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to indicator-bluetooth in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1483205 Title: unity-control-center needs bluetooth packages Status in indicator-bluetooth package in Ubuntu: New Status in unity-control-center package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hi, unity-control-center seems to require indicator-bluetooth which then pulls in a bunch of bluetooth packages. Any chance of updating it so bluetooth is optional? I don't have bluetooth enabled, and would prefer not to have bluetooth packages installed (indicator-bluetooth, bluez, indicator-bluetooth, gir1.2-gnomebluetooth-1.0, libbluetooth3, etc.) Thanks in advance.
