I should add that in some cases, it can be problematic. There is another bug in the calendar-app, in which all events trigger alarms at the time of the event even though no reminder was set in Google (haven't tried with local calendar). This means that you have no control over the alarms and should you be some place where muting your phone is required, you have no way of doing so…
