[ Regression Potential ] Any code change in Unity has the potential to introduce crashes in Unity. This particular fix has the potential to not close the dash after a drag-and-drop operation, which could conceivably result in a desktop lock-up requiring a restart. [ Other Info ] The Ubuntu 14.04 LTS SRU fix was cherry-picked from Ubuntu 14.10 where it has been in production use for some time without apparent regression.
