Hello Sebastien, or anyone else affected, Accepted unity into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/7.2.4+14.04.20141217-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

[Test Case] Using trusty candidate on a dual monitor config - log into unity - lock screen - start typing your password on one screen - move the pointer on the other screen -> the entry is displayed empty Ideally the same entry would be move so you can keep typing even if you happened to have move the focus, that's what lightdm/unity-greeter is doing [Regression Potential] Any modification to the password dialogs could result in the inability to unlock the screen or make passwords available in cleartext.
