I also had this problem, as well as when using super+w. I could solve it by playing around with some settings but because I can not reproduce the problem, I'm not able to narrow it down.
Anyway, maybe someone else can do it using the steps I've done – up to that point, where I realised, that the problem was gone: 1) moving 'unityshell' to the last entry in /org/compiz/profiles/unity/plugins/core (with dconf-editor), as described in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1284898/comments/10 2) changed the following settings using ccsm: 2.1) OpenGL -> General -> Texture Filter: switched from "Good" to "Fast" 2.2) Scale-Plugin -> Appearance -> Darken Background: switched from true to false 2.3) Scale-Plugin -> Appearance -> X Offset: Increased from 0 to 1 2.4) Scale-Plugin -> Appearance -> Y Offset: Increased from 0 to 1 2.5) Scale-Plugin -> Bindings -> Key Bindings Toggle Scale Mode: switched from true to false As stated before, I could not reproduce the problem. That means, I also turned back all the described settings back to their previous values, but it still works. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu.
