Bug description:
I was writing an appIndicator for exaile, and I noticed that the menu
I passed to the appIndicator didn't receive the 'show' and 'hide'
signals. These signals are used to update dynamic menus/dynamic info.
I can't seem to find any info on what signals I can expect to receive,
since the standard gtk ones aren't working?
