Bug description:
This is a regression in Oneiric relative to unity.
Two programs PyCharm and gnucash that display splash screen windows
while loading both show the same problem.
The problem is that the splash screen appears as a dropshadow only, in
the top left of the screen, with no contents. Because of the location
it causes the launcher to hide.
