After recent update of Ubuntu 14.04LTS using software updater built-in notebook
display in multi-display configuration keeps showing boot screen(or splash
screen) after power-on/restart. Problem is fixed after I turn the display off
and on afterwards using System Settings->Displays. I found the problem few
months ago in trusty-proposed repository updates. After I uninstalled all
"proposed" it was fixed again.
Problem was moved to standard updates now.
