See https://code.launchpad.net/~unity- team/nux/nux.xcomposite_check == TEST PLAN == Install the binary, add Section "Extensions" Option "Composite" "Disable" EndSection to your xorg.conf. Restart your session and you should find yourself in unity-2d or gnome classic. Running the test should also return 1.
