Bug description:
When opening the dash, the launcher smoothly fades out and the dash
smoothly fades in.
Contrasting this is the top panel. It is merely suddenly replaced by
the dash's transparent overlay. This is inconsistent and does not look
good. There should be a smooth transition here as well.
