Then the main desktop region, and its contents, become persistent [screenshot1] If I try and Alt-Tab back to this document, it doesn't bring it to the fore, but there remains an imprint on the desktop of the switcher [screenshot2] The only way I can log out, as panel menus seem to display _behind_ whatever is on the screen, is to use the HUD to log out [screenshot3] Logging out seems to be the only way to resolve this issue.
